Galle Acid Etched Cameo Glass Vase
Circa 1900
Of tapering circular form, continuing to a domed disk foot, in frosted amber and colorless glass, cased in glossy plum colored glass, decorated with large blossoms and budding branches. Height 16 1/2 inches.

Appears to be in good condition; there is some light scratching to the interior side; otherwise the interior is nice and clean; there are a few small shallow surface air bubbles that are "fine" polished and not sharp to the touch; there are some dark spot discolorations embedded in the glass, in the making ( perhaps undissolved coloring agents); foot appears to be original, scratch marks to underside of foot, consistent with age
