South German Baroque Walnut and Marquetry Commode
Early 18th century
The line inlaid rectangular top of serpentine outline inlaid with strapwork centering entwined stag horns and a monogram, above a conforming case enclosing three long drawers inlaid with lozenges and strapwork, raised on later block feet. Height 33 3/4 inches (85.7 cm), width 41 3/4 inches (1.06 m), depth 24 1/2 inches (62.2 cm).
