Valuable and interesting group of approximately ninety-seven imperforate issues including nineteen 1c., Scott No. 7, 8A, and 9, singles and strips, sixty-three 3c., Scott No. 10 and 11, including strips of three and blocks of six, nice range of shades with examples purported by the owner to include copper brown, claret and the rare plum color. The group also includes a range of recut varieties, a single four margin 5c. value, Scott No. 12, with small corner crease, twelve 10c. values including one Type I, Scott No. 13, five Type II, Scott No. 14, five Type III, Scott No. 15, one Type IV, Scott No. 16, and two copies of the 12c., Scott No. 17. Condition is mixed and closer examination is necessary.
