Russian Painted Porcelain Topographical Cabinet Plate
Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St. Petersburg, Period of Nicholas I, dated 1834
Of shaped circular form, with an irregular rim, the center depicting Llanfachreth Church, Wales, with figures and farm animals continuing to a dark teal border decorated with a gilt laurel wreath and scallop shells, the underside with an overglaze blue Imperial cipher mark. Diameter 9 3/4 inches.

Appears to be in good condition; no apparent rim chips; hairlines, etc.; no scratch marks to the painted center, however, there appears to be a small area of rubbing or wear or flaking to the far left area of the scene, notably, the stone wall and the tree or shrub area above the wall; the blue crown and cipher mark on the reverse are overglaze; it is dated on the reverse; 1834 and it is also signed in cyrillic, perhaps with the name of the artist; not blacklighted.
