In a forward leaning stance with a snake wrapped around her arm, on a portor marble base. Height 12 1/4 inches, width 13 7/8 inches.

Additional Notes & Condition Report

There is a small area of loss to the ivory along a portion of the snake, on the reverse side, above the figure's left shoulder area; there is glue residue around the arm band area above the left shoulder area; there is splitting to the various ivory elements, including, both legs, stomach area, the figures back and both arms; appropriate to age; extensive wear to gilding on the skirt, small nicks and chips to the rim edges and corners on the marble base; small are of infilling to the top right side of the base, the underside is inset with a small bronze medallion marked "L.M. PARIS J.L"
