Transitional Louis XV/XVI Style Metal Mounted Marquetry Inlaid Walnut and Satinwood Bookcase Cabinet
In two parts, the upper section with an arched top above a conforming case enclosing a central mesh wire door with glass shelves, flanked by a door decorated with leather bound book spines, the lower section with a pair of cupboard doors decorated with a cartouche with a flower filled urn, swag, birds perched on branches and blossoms, raised on faux fluted cabriole legs ending in sabots. Height 7 feet 7 3/4 inches, width 57 inches, depth 16 inches.
