[SHIP LOG] Log book of the Schooner Annie Amsden from Portland Toward Cuba [from title], vessel log for 1875-1878.
. Original pre-printed log book, neatly rebacked and cornered in leather, retaining portions of the original marbled sides. 15 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches (40 x 24 cm); approximately 100 ff. of ruled paper, about three-quarters completed in a neat script in dark brown ink. The log has a printed title leaf. Slight toning, generally attractive and legible.
The first voyage is from Boston to Cienfuegos, Cuba; the ship was in harbor in February 1876. There is a second 1878 voyage recorded here, though where to and from is not noted.
