United States Stamped Envelopes Overprinted Specimen
Group of approximately twenty-one Plimpton 1874 1 Cents to 30 Cents regular issues with a mix of paper colors, also eighty-five Official black on lemon envelopes and most are 2 Cents and 3 Cents denominations, different size envelopes in both categories and a variety of Official Department corner addresses, all overprinted SPECIMEN, in a variety of types; in addition, there are approximately twenty-six envelopes without value also overprinted and ten legal size U48 6 Cent envelopes without overprint, a few minor smears are noted, but in general all are Very Fine.
