Ladjuar Medam, Koksha Valley, Badakhshan Province, Afghanistan. Cluster of hexagonal crystals of light blue color atop a matrix of white calcite. Well terminated cluster of inter grown crystal ranging in size from about 2.0 cm to 0.8 cm with some underlying lazurite creating an interesting contrast of shades. Intriguing color variation under fluorescence. Approximately 3.2 by 5.5 by 2.5 cm.
