Wadi Maghareh Mine, Sinai Peninsula, Egypt
Mined from the world's oldest turquoise mine, this specimen is very richly covered with Egyptian turquoise on one side with a slightly greenish-blue to unique turquoise color. Turquoise is considered to be one of the oldest known gem materials, with Egyptian turquoise being the most translucent. Stable color and high durability. Approximately 7.5 by 8 by 6.5 cm.
