The rounded rectangular amethyst case edged by slender gold and purple enamel bands, accented by a platinum and diamond-set thumbpiece, signed Janesich, no. 12762, with French assay mark and hallmark, circa 1920. 2 1/2 x 3 3/8 x 7/16 inches.
