Contemporary calf, in a modern clamshell case. 8 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches (21 x 13 cm); 160 pp., with an appended 12 pp. law bound at the rear. Boards detached and spine stripped, stamps and accession marks to verso of title, marginal dampstain to first leaves, minor toning, the appended law (not called for) partially defective with some offset to final leaf of the first work, stamp and signature to front endpaper which is torn.
Scarce 1861 Montgomery issue of the Confederate Constitution. Sabin 15340; Howes C674.
