. London: Printed by John Watts for the author, 1740. First edition. Full dark blue morocco by Roger De Coverly, all edges gilt. [16], 346 pp. (lacking the final blank), with the frontispiece portrait of Cibber engraved from a painting by Jean-Baptiste Vanloo and signed G. Vander Gucht. The head of the spine chipped, other minor binding wear, internally generally a clean copy.
