... London: George Routledge, 1846. A royal presentation copy, inscribed by Edward VII, "For Harry Hanson/from/Edward R/Xmas 1902." Bound in full burgundy morocco with the Guild of Women Binders label, the covers decorated to an arts and crafts motif with interlocking gilt rosettes in the corners, marbled endsheets, top edge gilt. Light wear, but about fine.
A pleasing example of the Guild's work, with a royal provenance, possibly a gift to the American vaudevillian Harry L. Hanson.
