Finely bound with full purple morocco, the ornately tooled and with green and white morocco inlays, the spines tooled and lettered in gilt, each front doublure with an original watercolor drawing, watered silk endpapers, top edge gilt. 9 1/2 x 6 inches (24 x 16 cm); original watercolors to title pages by Aldrich, extra-illustrated with colored plates and watercolors to bindings as noted. Some internal foxing, the spines lightly sunned, a very fine set.
