Blue morocco spine and fore-edge, with custom decorated paper sides, original chemise papers (with Matisse design), decorated wrappers and spine bound in. 12 5/8 x 9 3/4 inches (32 x 24 cm); 87, [5] pp., with eight Matisse lithographs (the frontispiece, six plates, and terminal portrait). An attractively bound copy, minor offsetting from plates, overall fine.
