First edition. 20th century cloth. 13 x 8 inches (33 x 21 cm); [2], xxii, 332, 329-387, [1] pp., with one plan, woodcut decoration, errata leaf at end, bound with the Abridgement with separate title dated 1739. Stamp to title, various old dampstains throughout with tideline, several leaves including the title strengthened or remargined, stains to cloth.
A scarce Jamaica legal work, elegantly printed by Baskett and with a plan of the harbor at Port Royal. Sabin 35614.
