... Frankfurt: T. M. Goetz, 1664. Two parts in one volume, period vellum. 13 x 8 1/4 inches (33 x 20 cm); engraved title, printed title, [3] ff., 205, [4] pp., with four plates; [2], 196, [2[ pp, with 20 plates, many folding (the plate count as called for by the binder's register). Binding worn and stained, internally margins of some leaves frayed, somewhat browned, minor restorations etc.
Sold with a copy of the 1660 Paris edition of Pluvinel L'Exercice de monter à cheval. Ensemble le maneige royal de Mrs de Pluvinel et de Charnizay... in contemporary vellum, with folding engraved title and four engraved plates (but lacking the portrait). The first work Lipperheide 2910, and both works quite rare.
