Early boards. 106 pp. Stamps, ink notations, old dampstain, lacks rear endpaper; Together with Proceedings and Debates of the Convention of North-Carolina. Raleigh: J. Gales & Son, 1836. First edition. 20th century cloth. 424 pp. Stamped, foxing. Sabin 55663; And one other, being the 1831 reprint of the 1776 Provincial Congress journal.
This convention was called during the presidency of Andrew Jackson as the state sought to reconcile issues with the 1776 state constitution and to balance the political influence of Jackson's Democratic Party. The lot three volumes.
