Spectacular specimen of great importance from the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, six sharply terminated, a few of which are twinned yellowish Cerussite Crystals atop a matrix of Dufite, largest approximately 1.9 cm, on the opposing side of the matrix are very special salmon-red and transparent Crystals of Cerussite, due to Chalcotrichite, sometimes called copper's hair, salmon-red crystals have a few contacts, approximately 5 x 4 cm.
Philadelphia Academy of Science was considered to be one of the best mineral academies in the United States. Unfortunately it closed its doors and everything was sold.
