Hematite Rosettes and Quartz Crystals
Multitude of Hematite rosettes with reddish Hematite coated Quartz crystals, which shoot out in striking directions, with a big burst on the top of the specimen. There are about a dozen black Hematite rosettes filling up the matrix and about twenty Quartz crystal creating a dramatic and unusual three-dimensional picture. A few of the crystals are broken, with some having red Hematite inclusions inside, the top crystal looks to be doubly terminated and is piercing through the flower and into another crystal. The average size of the crystals range from about 4.0 cm x 1.5 cm, the largest of the rosettes is 2 x 4 cm, with an impressive overall size of approximately 24 1/2 x 18 x 20 cm. Cabinet specimen.
