Tourmaline Slice
Very attractive pink Tourmaline blades in a Calcite/Quartz host. On one side of the host there are three crystals of a close to watermelon blade, green is outside with pink inside, forming crystals of transparent gemmy Tourmaline, with a naturally laminated appearance. The largest blade is 9 x 3.5 cm, the second blade is 6.5 x 3.5 cm, with independent and interesting terminations of the blade on both sides of the host which is approximately 3 x 3 cm. The second side of the host has a bigger gemmy Tourmaline also imbedded and naturally laminated, approximately 15 x 3.5 cm and a laminated termination. When backlit, the color is hot pink, with pieces varying from gemmy to transparent to translucent to opaque, along with a multitude of white and reddish crystals deeply imbedded within their own territory, creating a most interesting and eye appealing specimen. Approximately 20 x 19 x 2 cm.
