Generally good condition overall with light bruising from normal use; engraved under spout with heraldic crest and script initial presentation, possibly "DPP from MJ"; underside script "EL to MA 1877"; the pitcher with a straining spout with split, porbably in the making; the interior fitted with a cloth filter on metal ring
