Centering one cushion-shaped ruby approximately 9.02 cts., set within a cushion-shaped pierced bombe mount set with 70 round diamonds, flanked by 12 round diamonds, totaling approximately 3.35 cts., signed Van Cleef & Arpels, N.Y., no. 1495, S.O., approximately 8.3 dwts. Size 5 1/2, with inner guard. With signed box.
With AGL report no. CS 1076859 stating that the ruby is of Thailand origin, gemological evidence of heat enhancement.

Ruby: deep raspberry-red, even color, several feathers slightly visible to eye, cushion-shape tapers slightly along length, several small nicks along crown facet edges and girdle, small chip at girdle, lively.
