Multi-Strand Cultured Pearl Necklace with Gold, Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire Clasp-Brooch, Attributed to Arthur King
18 kt., pearls ap. 8.5 mm., 5 oval sapphires ap. 3.00 cts., 3 oval rubies ap. 1.50 cts., 5 round diamonds ap. .80 ct., unsigned, c. 1970, with invisible screw-in clasps allowing the strands to be worn in different lengths and variations with or without the gem-set clasp. Length ap. 32 1/2 inches.

Necklace can be worn in two long strands, 4 short strands and other various ways and lengths. There are 4 invisible set pearl plungers to adjust the neckace. In order to create stability there is evidence of glue around the pearl and the pearl with metal plunger.
Cultured Pearls: white to off white color, with a light golden overlay and rose and green hues, round shape, lightly blemished, excellent luster, well matched
Sapphires: dark blue color, highly saturated, well matched, lively
Rubies: red color with pink undertones, medium tone and medium to strong saturation, lightly included
Clasp measuring ap. 1 1/8 x 1 inch
