The brass works inscribed Edw Burgis London; the dial inscribed Edw Burgis Londini Fecit and with Roman and Arabic numerals and calendar aperture. Height 16 1/2 inches, width 9 1/2 inches, depth 5 3/4 inches.

Alterations and restorations to mechanism; two-train six pillar movement with anchor escapement; date and pendulum apertures, lacking pendulum;
ebony veneered; crack and wear to molded cornice at right front corner; one side glass panel cracked; some cracking to veneer; handle possibly replaced
