Chippendale Walnut Tall Case Clock
Adam Brant, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, last quarter of the 18th century
The scrolled pediment with turned finials, the brass dial inscribed Adm Brant, New Hanover; arched case door between corner columns, panelled base on splayed bracket feet. Height 7 feet 10 inches, width 21 3/4 inches, depth 10 3/4 inches.

Has case door key, two weights, pendulum

Missing small triangular piece to right front cornice of pediment; one gilt-metal spandrel mount possibly replaced; bottom panel of base broken out - probably from the weights falling; one door wing loose; wear to feet; feet probably original but with new blocks
