Chippendale Mahogany Bow-Front Chest of Drawers
New Jersey, last quarter of the 18th century
The molded top over four graduated cockbeaded drawers, on ogee bracket feet. The underside front stamped S. T. BELLERJEAU. Height 33 1/2 inches, width 40 1/2 inches, depth 22 1/2 inches.
A card table in the collection of Winterthur Museum is stamped S.T. Bellerjeau and also signed "Made by Samuel/ T. Bellerjeau Trenton/ NJ".
