The beveled rectangular mirror plate within a leaf carved frame, surmounted by a swan's neck crest centered by a shaped cartouche, the apron with a shell and two scrolled candle arms. Height 52 1/2 inches (1.33 m), width 28 3/4 inches (73.0 cm).

Country house condition, appearing to retain its original beveled mirror plate, now with oxidation and losses to silver at bottom, commensurate with age, with later gilding but traces of water gilding underneath, chips, losses and flaking to gilding, bottom of frame with rubbing to gilding, cracks to gesso and later gilding, candle arms and holders later.
