George II Upholstered Mahogany Settee
Second quarter 18th century
The shaped rectangular back and seat with scrolled arms carved with acanthus leaves terminating in scrolls, raised on cabriole legs carved with flowerheads flanked by scrolled brackets and ending in paw feet. Height 40 inches (1.01 m), width 62 inches (1.57 m), depth 18 1/2 inches (47 cm).
