The serpentine brêche violette top with molded edge above a frieze carved with scrolling foliage and raised on legs entwined with dragons in bulrushes on a trelliswork ground carved with flowerheads and ending in foliate-carved scrolled feet ; the marble underside bearing a printed Parisian warehouse label with penciled name Hiebel (sp?). Height 34 inches (86.3 cm), width 47 3/4 inches (121 cm), depth 17 1/2 inches (44.4 cm).
