Third quarter of the 18th century
The circular dished top with serpentine edge, raised on a birdcage support continuing to a turned fluted columnar standard and acanthus-carved cabriole legs ending in paw feet. Height 28 inches (71.1), diameter 25 inches (63.5 cm).

Beautiful quality, lovely timber, very good restored condition, age crack along figuring to wood of top, minor perishing to varnish at one side, finely carved, key to birdcage support later.
