Of conical form and painted with the scene of the balloon ascent on April 25, 1784 at Dijon, the title below the image Luftschiffer___ zu Dijon 25. April 25, 1784. and signed C. v. Scheidt fec. at lower right, with a fly painted to the underside of the base. Height 4 3/4 inches (12.1 cm), diameter 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm).
