appears to be in generally good overall condition; each of the separate glass elements appears to be in generally good condition, including the ruffle shade, small chimney, central shaft and the ribbed base; there is a small shallow burst air bubble on the exterior side of the top area of the base element, in the making, and not of any consequence; there is a metal ring or collar affixed to the interior side of the base element, presumably original to the piece, as made, located near the top of this element, which receives the glass shaft; the bottom part of the glass shaft is ground flat but is not polished, presumably, as made, and presumably this element has not reduced in height; some sticky tape residue in some areas that should clean off easily
