NIGHT BY THE CAMPFIRE: Lightstain and matstain, a foxing or rust spot in the image by the canoe, a 1/4 inch area of abrasion in the image in the mountains at left, some rippling in the image, some foxing, dampstaining and backboard burning and other discoloration visible in the margins and verso, pressure marks recto from two linen hinges at top sheet edge verso, some light abrasion at top left sheet edge and bottom verso, some hard creasing and a few tears at top right sheet edge (largest two tears 1/2 inch and 7/16 each), some small loss at top right sheet corner, two creases in the image--one 1/2 inch at left and one 5/8 inch at right (noticable verso), a 1 inch horizontal crease in the bottom margin above the title at left, sheet 14 x 17 3/4 inches
WINTER SPORTS: Lightstain and matstain, extensive foxing, some other discoloration verso, some handling creases and rippling, some creasing and a few short tears at bottom left sheet edge, sheet 11 1/2 x 15 1/4 inches
PLACID LAKE: Laid on a support sheet, lightstain and matstain, foxing, backboard burning and other discoloration, some tears at right extending into the image, some tears at bottom left sheet edge, some small areas of light abrasion in the margins, sheet 11 x 14 7/8 inches
UPPER AND LOWER BAY OF NEW YORK: Lightstain and matstain, some foxing and other discoloration, handling and other creases including a horizontal hard crease at left sheet edge extending through the image 2 inches from bottom, a small abrasion in the image bottom left 3/8 below the horizontal crease, a 1/2 inch tear at top sheet edge extending just into the image, a 3/8 inch tear at bottom sheet edge, the pieces of old brown paper tape, old glue residue and abrasion verso, sheet 10 x 13 1/4 inches.
