[VERNACULAR DRAWINGS]. Baxter, Richard. The Saint's Everlasting Rest; or, A Treatise on the Blessed State of the Saints, in Their Enjoyment of God in Heaven. Abridged by Benjamin Fawcett.
New York: American Tract Society, circa 1850. Boards covered in a tan gingham fabric with loose original stitching. 6 x 3 1/2 inches. The endpapers are detached but present and offer six contemporary pencil and color drawings on the recto and verso of three leaves, the drawings include several silhouettes and birds, two drawings and the title page signed and dated "Sylvanus Covey/June 15th 1851". Some spotting, stains and light wear, the gingham soiled but intact.
