Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of Padmapani
The bodhisattva standing on a lotus base, with the hands in vitarka mudra, originally holding the stems of lotus blossoming at the shoulder now missing, dressed in a flared dhoti tied at the waist with a sash and adorned with necklaces, the downcast face between pendulant earlobes and framed by a separate foliate crown, the hair gathered into a high chignon. Height 11 inches.
