Sino-Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of a Standing Bodhisattva
Qing Dynasty
The elegant standing figure, dressed in a long dhoti draped in jewels, a billowing scarf around the shoulders, with numerous necklaces and a bracelets about the arms and feet, the elongated arms with hands once holding the stems of flowering lotus at the shoulders, now removed, the downcast, serene expression between large earrings with hanging tassels, the hair drawn up into a top knot. Height 11 inches.
