The figure shown seated with the hands holding a tablet in front of the torso, wearing court robes, a shawl and a ribbed court hat secured with a hair pin and tied with cords that fall over a lock pendant at the chest. Height 16 3/4 inches.

Gilt and lacquer loss and some areas of over-painting with gilt and some areas of clear lacquer over-painting. Very tips of scarf near the base at either side of lower leg is missing. Tablet in hands has evidence of restoration.
