Group of Six Chinese Snuff Bottles
Comprising a citrine bottle of tapered form carved in relief with deity holding a double gourd; a celadon jade bottle of ovoid form carved in relief on one side with lotus, the stone with apple green and gray inclusions; a purple quartz bottle of ovoid form carved to one side with buddhistic lion; an amethyst example carved in relief and openwork with a squirrel clamboring amongst grape clusters borne on curling vines and tendrils; and two shadow agate bottles of ovoid form, one depicting a horse tethered to a post, the other depicting figures in various pursuits. Height overall of tallest 3 3/4 inches.

Agate with horse: chips to mouth rim, adhesive residue on foot, deep scratch on neck.
Citrine: Minute chips and small break and repair on foot rim, minute chips to interior mouth rim, small break and repair on double gourd.
Purple quartz: bottle has been smashed and repaired throughout.
Jade: neck possibly ground down.
Amythst: scattered chips, breaks and scratches throughout.
