Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of Mahakala
Dancing on a prostrate figure set within a triangle base on a lotus plinth, the fierce deity dressed in a short animal skin dhoti secured at the waist, a long billowing scarf and jewels draped about the neck, arms and wrists, holding a scull cup and curved knife the downcast face with open mouth framed by a scull tiara before red flaming hair. Height 7 1/2 inches.
