[Paris: Verve, distributed in Great Britain by A. Zwemmer, 1955]. First edition in English. Publisher's pictorial paper-covered boards, designed by Braque. 13 7/8 x 10 1/4 inches (35.2 x 25.8 cm); numerous plates reproduced from Braque's sketchbooks (20 of which are in color and were pulled by Mourlot). Upper joint cracked, extremities worn. Together with the New York edition of the same year. Spine lacking, worn.
Braque created several of the lithographs especially for this publication. The lot two volumes. (2)
