Russian Silver-Gilt and Cloisonné Enamel Salt Throne
Probably Gustav Klingert, Moscow, 1887
Of traditional form, on bracket feet, the fan-shaped back decorated with two opposing cockerels, the waisted rectangular base with hinged cover, enameled throughout with varicolored scrolling foliage within pellet borders. Height 4 inches (10.3 cm).
