Set of Ten George III Beechwood and Parcel-Gilt Dining Chairs
Circa 1780
Each side chair with padded backrest and stepped top rail centered and flanked by a paterae within a fluted frame, above an overupholstered seat, raised on molded tapering square legs with half-moon base, on spade feet. Height 36 1/2 inches (92.7 cm), width 21 inches (53.4 cm), depth 17 inches (43.2 cm).
