Russian Enameled Gold Cross of St. Stanislas with Swords, Third Class
Workmaster's mark AK, St. Petersburg, 1899-1904, the swords marked Cyrillic P.T., St. Petersburg, 1908-1917
With ribbons, awarded to Captain Cornelius Schutt, circa 1915-1916, in a later frame. Height of cross 2 inches (5 cm.), excluding suspension loop, width 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm.).

Russian military records indicate that Cornelius Schutt was enlisted in the Life Guard Mounted Grenadier Regiment as a Praporshchik. He was awarded the present cross on November 5, 1914 (Scout, No. 1256, November 25, 1914, appendix, p. 366).
