Fabergé Silver-Mounted Ceramic Gum Pot
Antti Nevalainen, St. Petersburg, 1899-1904, scratched inventory number 9757
The cobalt blue glazed baluster body with a silver rim mount with beaded border, suspending floral garlands, the removable cover with integral brush and rooster-form finial, with French import mark. Height 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm).

A Fabergé gum pot of the same form and with similar silver mounts (but with a different cover) is in the collection of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond (object number 85.593a-b).

Additional Notes & Condition Report

In generally good condition. Silver mounts with light surface wear and minor bruises. Ceramic pot with crazing to the glaze. Top of pot with some small chips beneath silver rim mount.
