Of ovoid form, painted with a black petrel in flight above a stormy seascape, after a design by V.M. Zhbanov, underglaze blue mark and the Russian inscription: artist Zhbanov, V.M. / design "Petrel" [Burevestnik] under base. Height 16 3/4 inches.
