Set of Three George IV Sterling Silver Waiters
Robert Garrard, London, 1821/1822
In two sizes, each with a foliate shell rim and engraved with heraldic arms, on four bracket feet. Diameter of larger 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), total approximately 28 ounces.
The arms are those of Hobson of Spaulding, Lincolnshire impaling another.
A pair of covered entree dishes by Paul Storr with the same armorials were sold Sotheby's London, July 3, 2019 from the collection of Neil & Gina Smith.
