The hood with caddy flanked by brass finials above pierced fretwork panels and an arched glazed door and rectangular sides panels, with rounded columns, the figured walnut trunk on a molded later plinth, the 12-inch wide gilt-metal dial with mask and foliate spandels and silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers and diamond half quarter hour markers, the matte center signed Hen Batterson/Londini Fecit with seconds dial and date aperture, the arch with military trophy flanked by eagles, the five pillar movement with anchor escapement. Height 98 inches (248.9 cm).
