Two George III Embroidered Silk Portraits with Rolled Paper and Mica Borders
Last quarter 18th century
Each depicting a mother and child or father and son, within a verre églomisé border, further within beaded gilded frames, apparently original; one backboard with inked inscription: P. Latham./Frognal Rise./Lower Terrace/N. W. 3.
Height 11 3/4 inches (29.8 cm), width 10 1/4 inches (26 cm).

The inscription is possibly that of Sir (Herbert) Paul Latham, 2rd Baronet, who between 1928 and 1934 was a member of the London County Council, representing Lewisham East and an MP for Scarborough and Whitby constituency from 1931 to 1941.
